Because 1 he couldn’t think of how to break it off with her, 2 what could he tell his poor mistress who had already shown up and spread her legs for him that very morning that Jemma caught them in his office Man, I loved this book.
It always strikes me as a huge irony that as a romance writer I find myself married to a knight, a cavaliereas you say in Italian. It’s all about expectations. Talk of the Ton. The best jamea about the series has been been the ongoing story of sophisticated Jemma and her estranged husband. Only strangers — or at best, acquaintances — thronged below in the drawing room, begging for the favor of being asked to help her place a patch, or choose a gown.
Elijah, in turn, has become one of if not my absolute favorite hero of Ms. So, why do I love this book? Another good one in the series! Definitely my favorite book of the series, this is the BEST!!! They would be having a love scene while talking about Elijah’s previous mistress – it was just weird.
