I didn’t know that these were so short but fun stories. These books are much too short and frankly seem to be written like a screenplay, with cliffhangers on every page. They went to the woods and found three elves who tried to capture Simon, but Simon and Jared switched names zrthur got away.

I do not like how the book is viewed- by a narrator- I’d like the book more if it was out of Jared, Simon or Malorie’s eyes. Thanks for telling us about the problem.

This book is not yet featured on Listopia. Another simple and well written read with wonderful characters and a nice story line. Their brownie-turned-boggart, Thimbletack, is furious with them for not giving their great-uncle’s secret book to them, so the creature is subjecting them to vicious pranks that may endanger them if they get worse. In the third book they ve their breath while visiting their “crazy” aunt Lucinda.

Like I said before, it’s a great book for children. It’s a “Young Child” book but really it’s scary.

They follow the map and bump into elves, who arthkr that the kids turn over the field guide to them for safe keeping or remain with the elves forever. It irks me when authors do that.
