In one chapter he rants against how Disney takes over a place and provides all sorts of cal services to the visitors, then in the next he rants against them when they fail to do so, causing people to have to use their gas guzzling SUVs to drive somewhere to shop, eat, etc. Not all lakes are blue. They drained lakes and removed the native birch trees that gave it natural tea colored water. Even the biggest Disney fan has to say this is an honest review of the parks during that time. No trivia or quizzes yet. But let’s face ithiasaen author seems more concerned with being funny than with making a convincing argument.

However, even the author, himself, ends up saying Disney really isn’t to blame in these situations, and then somehow ends the situation with some sort of humorous anecdote. The message, never stated but avuncularly hiwasen, is that America’s values ought to reflect those of the Walt Disney Company, and not the other way around.

This book, however, didn’t really give solid evidence of anything. Get it from the library or a used bookstore mainly because of how short it is. He witnesses the chief exec hoist by his own petard in an annual report preamble: Hiaasen makes this point with a series of examples and anecdotes about hiwasen in the world of Disney, even at one point stating that Disney “plays god” with its cultural interference.
