Seems like this is an incompatibility with this particular Intel WiFi adapter, but cannot find any official list of incompatible hardware I can use to confirm. The time now is What ever was at fault, it was definitely something to do with the HP laptop because throughout all of this messing around an Acer laptop running Pwa would connect to the network every time. My thinking was the encryption is based on the type of wireless card you have!

What’s the easiest way to become a member and start posting? SP1 does not support it, but there is a Microsoft patch. OK, tried Furry’s suggestion and it seems to be working. I do know that laptop is not fully patched, though what level it is at I’m not intdl at this instant, probably only SP1.
